Each chapter from the book has supplementary additional resources, case studies with answer guides and interactive exercises. Neonatal Nursing- Knowledge to support learning in practice – This site, developed by Julia Petty, is hosted on the University of Hertfordshire website and serves as a repository of resources in key areas of neonatal care useful for anyone learning about this specialty or those who require an update of the specific learning points to apply to practice.

European Standards of Care for Newborn Health – To address the disparities in the care of preterm and ill babies, this project presents European reference standards on a range of topics.
Cochrane Neonatal – This link takes you to the complete list to neonatal specific Cochrane reviews which are systematic reviews of available research in many specific areas of neonatal care.
National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU) – All publications – The NPEU undertake many vital research studies in perinatal and neonatal care and you can view the list of publications here. The main site also details the past and current research trials and studies undertaken.
Stanford Newborn Nursery website and photo gallery: A useful US website comprising information / guidelines for health professionals but most importantly, is the Photo Gallery that contains a wide variety of images, audio clips and videos of various aspects of newborn assessment with supporting explanations.

BLISS Baby Charity- Parent Stories – See this website that focuses on supporting parents who have had babies in neonatal care; here is a collection of parent stories
